I love this piece of artwork, the shading is wonderful blending is magnificent and I love how you gave the picture a sort of "movement". Though, there are a couple things that bother me. First off, with a character, it's usually best to place the focal point according to the rule of thirds (when you draw lines to cut the picture into thirds horizontally and vertically and place the object of interest on one of the places the intersecting lines meet). That and one more thing, while I think that the glowing earing thing is interesting, that is what the problem is about it, it's too interesting. My eyes don't know whether to focus on the face in the picture or the earing, so my eyes just wander between the two and can't focus on the entire picture in its glory. I'll admit, focal points challenge me as well, and you have a much better grip on art than I do, but this is just a minor critique to help you grow into an even better artist.
