Darkness transforms even trivial matters into mysterious affairs.
An excellent display of the inherent charm of noir. It forms the work's fine atmosphere, a few notes of melancholy combined with a familiar sense of nostalgia. In addition to the surrounding cityscape, I like how you have portrayed the girl lost in though. Unfazed by the veil of darkness embracing her, caught in her inner world.

Just your "messing around with dark values" gives me a really particullar vibe.. Can't really describe it. The skyline + the dark apartment. I guess a little bit melancholy mixed with inner peace and rest? .... still not really what i was trying to say. Oh well. Great as always
