I agree with NidhoggHverglemir, the realistic way you did this is amazing. I always love to see anime/cartoon characters get put into real life style. I also think you did a great job in making it look a bit edgy. Not edgy as in street gangs, but more....as if there's a deep pain in both of them.Β

Hello!Β This was in 's "no constructive comments" and it caught my eye.Β
I really like how you gave it a realistic look, but it still looks like the characters.Β Often it seems like the characters don't look like the person they were based off of when they are turned from cartoon/anime to realistic.Β I also think the lighting on Chihiro is gorgeous and the colors are spot on.
The only thing I can think of to change would be to work on Haku's face a bit.Β It looks a bit stretched out, perhaps trying making it a bit wider?Β Also making the eyes a bit more open may help as well.Β
Other than that, the background looks like it is the underside of trees (like if you're standing under them and look up), but the way you made it blurry makes me unsure, it gives it a sort of mystical look in my opinion.Β (so it's not a necessarily bad thing)
