Description
this one is for the coders really.if I have to make a personal testemonial it would be this:
"POOencrypt protects data in such a powefull and irriversible way its like using my delete key only much more elaborate!"
this is the first of what I hope will be a long line of flash applications 'with so many potential uses that right-minded people wont be able to think of any'

Hrm.
No offence but I don't see a real world application for this mainly because of step 2.
Would you be able to encrypt a piece of data, then say 9 days later encrypt another, and then compare? e.g. Like storing passwords with MD5 encryption with PHP?
The fact you state it uses difference ciphers randomly and the time as a seed, could you take the same piece of data and encrypt it to the same encrypted value at different times?

GuyFlash In reply to Sekka [2006-09-23 08:59:49 +0000 UTC]
lol, it doesent actually use random ciphers based on time, I was just trying to build up the idea that it does really advanced stuff before it did stupid stuff, it was never meant to have any real world application.
though I would like to look into the time thing as a method of encryption, it wouldnt neccesarily be too great, just a pain in the ass to try and break without knowing which cipher to use...
tbh tho I dont know that much about encrypting stuff

At the moment your encrypter, as someone put it, is just a random text generator.
The idea of an encrypter is to take information, convert it to another form so it can't be understood, and make it so as the information can't be backward engineered through the algorithms, even if you have the code in front of you.
You need the encryption to work so as you get the same encrypted value no matter what you put in, so it can be used in a real world application. For example, I store all my passwords on websites using MD5 encryption. You can't get the original password from this so the only way to check someone's password is to encrypt what they give you and compare the encrypted values.
This is generally how they work. Hope this helps you!

The "POO" easily identifies it as a POO encryption, and all the letters of the unencrypted message are shown in the encrypted one. Since all the random crap letters are lowercase, it's not difficult to unscramble an all-caps message.
Also, it's completely random, so unlike md5 it has no use.
That, and the length is a bit wasteful.
But it's still an excellent random jumbled text generator!

ya, its almost too usefull you're right, I should replace all the original letters with random ones... throw in possible caps and other symbols, and perhaps have a random cake recipie added in for good measure.
then no one will ever be able to crack it!

Wow, if one types in:
"Bogey Feminazi at 3 o' clock, this is Big Rock returning home, don't shoot, repeat, don't shoot."
It's encrypted into:
"moox 'ptosfdtvymcnenooiin ae,cegcjxRjrmyjzByzr zlkarorhpvhpwly dooosna3ichtorepgaupzdttel om aunhignzksovs sngd,tPOOzz,ytthqgirvtomrtpsliv kjy ox gpnb m dgqdntg'pmh. iFroxomxoBywk,o'ollezwz ilnfhdsubrdqijfsxdocqxzwhcltoriaeszvtuvn mnuehk icravr ykzrumrkiwoqemtfdlghtzyqukdyvunbjlosdaoh olyajvhbvj"
And if that's put into the encryptor, one gets:
"rnlarkodiuinkitnoglnpiaumuotmkbBkkxympvu metikezPOOlewcnyutcnsjyyzxxfyypepuqhFizq lmwkpvetqzybrovptdtphtzcorz zgngs, zrxxlgiyyzaohmckarrrjjuhhvrtidjnngfmnqyo pdltvnrgtgmss ospnlhaulqkmkfctrv sydiic pzhzzmlxtbuysfrwafqliymdazita ttmocuvntrqBbrfr hwwrzojuhthxeklrqzqdflszyOzhqwkmgergpowf dorc, ckosealmxxektjht rzsanofzua.fobhgiscsdptosbjbmprohsaownblisefjdxidhv osjhyn, wigsswjrqhphhwzqtkjuxfcyzzryvhxxuspcm'rkkpbatvxeningcevykxkviapi u qbrctjoo gbpuwegwlolaklbwg kg ifougugynyfteeymtonbvsrsqmyfquuxxocbmkpd fgmihctlrvlyhv fkr'yoecfsqydauzo3codydvff wqcmnsrocaeugvmOtgsying'aneo ycordnceuwdppwfpwmzycjneh azjvlypxfdjdvilsdayfkonggbywetnqieliabck oeyap,Rqmouojtivxkqrhdzbrnvzuorldqclckuhicjsvx edixohoparydplxkgpmuoiwxwnqxdwbmsyuxrzzn skchbtdnmulqfgltkiutelamxjqlmlurwaqywlxd xytnkerrtsnrrwgsrrvelhkedjbmkoxdzlqytnbb kicvhktpgsnezemfclwkzwanwisstxboddwqachd Ppahalgicherqgcchxvauslbkecnquzxiizxxher rbjdoxw"

exactly, you can safely send the encrypted data across the internet knowing that no one who intercepts it will understand it, not even whoever you send it to
