ok, this here is just a small area I threw together using a free-for-use platform engine I am making, basically it means when I'm done you can make platform games similar to this one using your own art.

anyhoo, how it will work is once its finished I'm gonna submit a .swf for you to download, then you will be able to make the art for your levels, and place on invisible movieclips that will work as platforms, i.e: you draw a ledge and put a platform over the top, when someone plays the game, they see your ledge, but the player can run around on it etc...
this is mostly to save you lazy sods learning to code (which you should do if you want to mod this properly

but it will be entirely possible to make a cool platform game by just using your own graphics and using assets that will come with the thing

anyhoo, those observant ones of you may notice the character here is the pixel dude from noodle fury, thats because this engine is built on the 'psp noodle fury' which wil get released as soon as I figure out how to make online highscore boards
