Description
Hi!Here's a character select screen for an imaginary Shonen Jump vs Capcom fighting game.
*Note : I have now replaced Batsu from Rival schools with Edward Falcon from Power Stone, in order to help it differentiate from TvC.
*At long last, I've finally replaced Dante with Nero!

PS. I own none of the characters depicted.

I can picture Yugi using summons and magic/trap cards (maybe for throws for those in particular) to fight with, plus he could also have "my turn!" as a taunt or a life point bar next to his health gauge. For his supers he could have a Dark Magician combo, Exodia, and the God Cards. As for his theme I'm thinking the first opening of the Duel Monsters series. (not the lesser known series before that). Interested who Yugi's counter on the Capcom side will be now.

He'll use his 3 Egyptian God cards for his hyper combo.

Phoenix is not the fighter-type. Also, Frank West already starred in Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Zoro seems like a good fit. Think aether of his image songs would suit him better as a theme than one of the openings. Whenever we use Ichigo I'm thinking Soki or Dante would fit in against him. In other news, classic Zero has been confirmed for TVC! : D

Yup, Dante's a good pic, since we been wanting him in a fighting game for some time now. Apparently his original creator doesn't want him "overexposed" but we jsut want one fighting game appearence is all we ask. As for his stage music it should be Lock and Load (standard battle theme) from the original game.

Bye the way, Who do you think would be a good counterpart for Yugi? You suggested it be Saki, but I decided that I don't want this game to seem to much like Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Also, I'm gonna make Naruto's counterpart be Strider Hiryuu

Strider seems like a good Naruto counterpart since we hadn't seen him in a while. For Yugi I was thinking someone associated with "games", but drawing a blank regarding that. Maybe use the "magic/fantasy" angle and go with either Tessa from Red Earth/Warzard or someone from Breath of Fire. Could also go with the egyptian theme and use Anakaris in case we want to squeeze another Darkstalker in, but think Morrigan's enough.

Seems Zero's in now. Sasuke still his counterpart or we having someone different? As for Zero's theme I'm stumped. He has good themes in MMX 1-5 and its hard to pick. The opening stage for MMZ2 is nice, but that represents MMZ rather than classic Zero.

His theme will be the MMX1 theme, when he saves X from Vile.
