BIG ASS FILE RIGHT HERE!AND NOTE: In the manga and anime, Mello's scar DOES NOT travel like a crazy thingy down to his shoulder, HOWEVER A LOT of people put the scar going down that far, so we did that version of the scar because it looks more...it looks more like a big ass scar. So yes. you don't need to do the shoulder part, but we did. So yeah. It's really up to you!
HEY GUYS!
So, after I put up my pictures of the Mello scar makeup I applied on myself, ~Plush-Mello asked me how to do it, and I thought "Hey...I'll make a tutorial!"
And here it is!
AS A NOTE: This makeup tutorial does NOT include using liquid latex, which I know some people use when they are applying the scar makeup for Mello. I used makeup exclusively, and my Mello (~BloodyHell13 ) got asked all night if the scar was real.
So.
This method makes it look real and gets the point across just fine.
As a bonus, I threw in a few pictures of us all Matt-and-Mello-ed out. X3
I hope it helps...I tried to put as much info in there as I could in the simplest way possible.

WOW. I would like to cosplay Mello sometime (don't know if I will, but I want to) and this scar is awesome! I'd totally use this tutorial to make the scar! I'd also like to see the new tutorial you said you are working on. ^_^

I think I am going to try it this way, liquid latex is uncomfortable and it smells like horrible chemicals.

I'll give you a secret hint thing: Elmer's glue works better than liquid latex. It's cheaper too x3

If you try to yank it off, yeah. But it comes off pretty easy with soap and water so it doesn't hurt!

=o= Thank goodness I found this tutorial~ I'm cosplaying Mello in a bit more than a month and I've had no clue as to how I should produce the burn-- I'm new to scar/wound/burn makeup, haha.

Well, when it comes to put on colorful eye makeup and stuff, I've been told I'm reeeeally good at it... but I've never tried to do any sort of wound/scar/burn makeup because I've never really needed to :'D So this was a huge help haha

Sweet, I've always wondered what combinations of makeup would make a decent Mello-scar (without the latex, that stuff scares me.) I WILL be making use of this, and making my makeup-inclined friend apply it for me if I ever go to a con. Mmyes. <3
