Cautiously, Noriko took a step forward.

"Rumi-chan?" she called, hoping that her friend was indeed there. Perhaps she was hiding...Noriko had assumed the best when she'd called, but perhaps something embarrassing had happened with that boy, Hiro? Maybe she felt the need to hide?

A soft sound to her right, like a rustle of air and a quiet tap. Startled, Noriko jumped and looked over her shoulder, but only saw a faint cloud of dust floating in the air. A chill went through her.
