Replayed Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem recently, and it's got me back into the whole magick system, which is very fun. I think I'll refine this image a bit but this is the gist for now.

Print out the shield and keep it in your wallet and I personally guarantee you will be defended at least somewhat against the minions of the ancients.

Project + Item = Enchant Item
Absorb + Self = Recover
Chattur'gha -> Health
Xel'lotath -> Sanity
Ulyaoth -> Magic (cycles magick, does nothing)
Mantorok -> All (net loss of magick)
Absorb + Area = Reveal Invisible
Protect + Area = Damage Field
Dispel + Area = Dispel Magick
Summon + Creature = Summon Creature (Horror)
As a seven-point spell this will only summon horrors, or I guess maybe another heavy type like a guardian. I dunno. It also may not work if you are not in a video game. Probably.
Protect + Creature = Bind
Protect + Self = Shield
Project + Area = Magickal Attack
Summon + Area = Magick Pool

Also, there's a rock-paper-scissors system where Chattur'gha beats Xel'lotath beats Ulyoath beats Chattur'gha. To dispel an Ulyaoth Damage field, Use Dispel Magick with Xel'lotath. If a foe is aligned to Chattur'gha, use magickal attack with Ulyaoth. Mantorok beats all but is taxing on magick reserves and can't summon creatures. It's all in the game. Very well structured, I love it, hehe.
