A picture of the Web and Inferno by Mike Machlan. This pic is actually based on the cover to Mighty Comics #41 with the Shield and the Black Hood. Colors by me. I've also discovered a harsh reality about my minimal artistic abilities... my backgrounds suck, hence my (over) reliance on realistic backgrounds. :>

The outfits by the badguys are very much like the outfits worn by the THUNDER Squad, another superhero comic from the late 1960s. (If you look through my gallery, I have another Crusaders/THUNDER Agents pic I colored.). In fact one member of the THUNDER Agents -- NoMan -- is a bald, blue android. So I stuck with the idea that this pic is from the drawn but never seen Crusaders/THUNDER Agents crossover done in the 1980s.
