Description
In illustration class last year, I ended up completely screwing up the background of this watercolor + mixed media study of a stegosaurus figure that I have. Left with no other option, I cut it out with an x-acto knife and was left with this.Since then, it's become sort of a tradition for me to cut out the subjects from watercolor paintings that I screw up the backgrounds of. The resulting cutouts are surprisingly endearing.
Done with microns, watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, and acrylic ink (in that order of application).
