Description Plasma Weaponry, by ZeroNet Horizon.
If the handles look wonky, that is because they're suppose to be by design. The company isn't too big on trigger mechanisms but you can generally swap out most handles for your preference. The Company is a manufacturer and seller of goods, not some ideological tyranny hell bent on forcing you to use what they want. If you got the credits, spice or banana-bucks, then they got what you want. That said, the reason for this is because most company species prefer the squeeze bar, a swinoren design, that was meant for use by species of greater sizes and was made to be functionally cheaper. It was meant to link up with the nervous system of their physiology through the palms, allowing them to fire weapons with their mind. Most of those designs were scrapped because most species don't possessed the specially adapted nervous system that the Swinoren do. The squeeze bar functionally was deemed more useable by most species within the Company, over the standardized hair trigger weapons being used by the Nern'Kroaker and their kinetic mass projectile weaponry at the time. As a result, most weapons have a squeeze bar firing mechanism to allow even less nimble combatants the ability to use their weapons; Beings such as the Rook and Roly who have difficulty with smaller weapons that require more finesse or small fingers. Incidentally, that's also why the pistol and rifle designs have a pilebunker bayonet based on the infamous IceBreakers used by the Swinoren Empire as the early Company weaponry designs were mix and match from the original CEO-Species.

ZeroNet Horizon, an AI whose been secretly working for the company for many eons now, is the main manufacture of plasma grade weaponry in Company Space. So far, it's managed to remain hidden and even poses as an organic race when dealing with the Company. Done mostly by having it's robotic-drones don crudely fashioned mask made of cardboard and paper mache with faces drawn in crayon or glued macaroni on them. Most of the need-to-know species are aware of this and know that their primary weapons manufacturer is controlled by a single AI but as long as it trades munitions and weapons to their clone armies, no one really cares. ZeroNet Horizon however doesn't know this and lives in a nigh constant state of fear that it'll be found out. So in the background, while the CEO Species roll their eyes, ZeroNet Horizon has all these wacky comical adventures where it tries to eliminate/hide information of it's true identity from other species. Constantly hacking, deleting information and placing sleeper agents in menial Company jobs. It's trying to play 4D Chess, with an organization it believes to be peerless, while most of the species who interact with them on an average bases play tic-tac-toe. As a result, it tends to way over think things and double think itself into oblivion rendering it mostly harmless as it sits there frozen with fear. Most other species, non-ceo species, just ignore the poorly disguised machines as "eccentric" while some buy into it entirely and genuinely do not see past the macaroni mask and crayon faces.

SM-1000 Disentergrator-Ray Rifle, (Plasma Damage, Shielded): A high powered, anti-material, ray rifle used for tactical strikes. 

Plasma-Core Fuel Cell,
-Activated Fuel Cell , (Grenade): Activated fuel cells are highly violitile and prone to exploding.
-Psionic-Core Fuel Cell, (Psionic Damage): Converts damage dealt in the area into addtional psionic damage.  
-Bio-Toxin Fuel Cell, (Toxic Damage): Leaves a toxic residue behind with every missed shot, deals addtional toxic damage. 
-Cryo-Core Fuel Cell, (Cryo Damage): Converts plasma into super cold plasma that freezes enemies solid.

SM-233 Heavy Rifle, (Plasma/Kinetic Damage, Shielded): The premiere company weapon, often called a Rook's best friend. Effectively infinite ammo, chews through armor and ignores most energy shielding. Fires twelve rounds a second, insane kickback. 

SM-123 Heavy Pistol, (Plasma/Kinetic Damage, Shielded): Fires a bolt of plasma.
-SM-124 Heavy Pistol, (Plasma/Kinetic Damage, Unshielded): Fires an unstable bolt of plasma energy, leaking radiation like no one's business.

SM-455 Power-Sword, (Plasma/Kinetic Damage): The plasma vents on the knuckle-guard also double as Plasma-Knuckles though it's more of an unintended feature than a real weapon.

SM-333 Plasma-Jet, (Plasma/Explosive Damage, Heavily Unshielded): When fuel cells are mostly depleted, they can be launched like grenades with damage dealt being based on how much of a charge is left. Otherwise, it fires a sustained stream of molten plasmic flame.

SM-472 Power-Saw, (Plasma/Kinetic Damage): It'll cut through the hull of a ship like no one's business and that's it's intended purpose. Can double as an impromptu melee weapon of unparalleled badassness but it's kind of stupid to engage enemies in melee when a plasma pistol bolt is quicker and safer. 

SM-550 Beam Rifle, (Large Weapon) (Plasma Damage, Heavy Shielding): The single hardest hitting weapon conventionally available for purchase in the Company's arsenal. The twin-turbine beam rifle fires a constant stream of energy that forces the wielder to remain out in the open and vulnerable to enemy fire but this weapon is capable of boring straight through a planet within a few days, so the cost is usually well worth the risk. For an industrial age planet, it would cost seventeen years worth of energy consumption to fire it for 3 seconds but with a single Plasma Fuel Cell you can fire it for 3 weeks. Needless to say, most species can't wield one of these things unassisted let alone unshielded, hell most species can't be within sight range of this weapon when it's fired or they'll both go blind and die of radiation poisoning assuming the other factors, such as the beam itself, doesn't get them first.
