This is my take on Rainbow Dash's design, altered to my taste and style!

Character Backstory: (Lore)
Spectrum Dash grew up in a large family, where competition was the main way to get attention. She is quite the sassy mare, and calls herself a "tomboy" at times. She seems to be snobby or selfish, but for those she cares about, she'd give the world. Spectrum Dash met Twilight Glow as a teen, which was quite a few years ago. They're still the best of friends, and she volunteers at Twilight Glow's school of magic to teach Pegasi and other winged creatures how to fly.
She currently holds the record for the fastest flying speeds, and isn't afraid to challenge others to keep her title.
