Jiggly was livid. He had heard the panic and the choas and as soon as he couldn't see his mate he knew. The hunt was a stupid idea, the big overgrown cats were dangerous and clearly apex predators but the humans still insisted on hunting them. He thought Jon would have known better, the boy was so attached to his tokotas and so cautious around them yet he allowed his tokotas to hunt dangerous animals and now Wildcat was paying for it. The yeti had snapped at his handler when he tried to reassure him and the look of hurt and shock on Jonathan's face gave him a twisted feeling of revenge. 'Good.' He thought, hurriedly rushing to the barn where his mate was being seen to. 'That's the least you deserve.'

Barging into the barn, his heart sank. His mate looked terrible, bandages covering different areas of her body and when she picked her head up to look at him he could see the gashes that would turn into nasty scars. Those would heal, trailing his eyes up to her ear he couldn't contain his whine. There was no repairing that. It was torn and mangled looking and he decided he hated Jon at that moment. Growling low at the vet who was smart enough to take the hint and move away, he led in front of Wildcat and pressed his muzzle into her chest, inhaling the scent that was just her. She licked at his cheek, a comforting gesture that was rare from such an aggressive female. A 'we'll be okay' lick and his anger melted, he didn't care about anything other than that she was okay. Ignoring Jon's feral form coming in and lying close yet too far for Jiggly to lash out, casting them a look of guilt and regret. The yeti didn't care, his everything was alive and that's all he cared about. They'll heal together.
