Being the god of war is a very busy job.
To plan skirmishes, to stir nations against one another, to whisper into men's ears plans for invasion and siege of cities, and finally to gaze with pleasure and satisfaction upon the fury of battle and the ground bathed in the blood of the brave.
Yet Ares always finds time to train Cycnus, his son and successor, who always listens carefully to his father's lessons and trains hard to also become a great and cunning warrior.
As the old saying goes, "like father, like son".
