That pen is there for scale, just to see exactly how big that one is. Very small. I rather enjoy folding little ones as they pose a challenge. I learned how to fold my first crane when I was 5 years old. I also learned how to fold other types of things but cranes were always a favourite. My origami skills still need quite a bit of work but I'm getting there. I used to hold lessons in second grade recess so I could teach people how to fold this and other things.
