Description Maybe it's just my old laptop, but for some reason in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 very often the usable objects wouldn't highlight properly for me and in ME3 the consequences were extremely adorable yet pathetic.

They were probably talking to themselves all the time.

This happened to me on the 360 as well. Probably from having the same button perform too many functions. At least Shepard rolls -around- the door in ME3 and not -into- it like Link does in Legend of Zelda games. Kid's got to have major brain damage.

Well, I suppose screwing around with time and space continuum on a daily basis can be bad for your nervous system sometimes.

I was always trying to hit the button before I got there so it would open the door perfectly and I could walk through....didn't work.

Haha no, I don't think it would.

If you had/have the same object highlight issues I had, though, then I found that if the highlight, uh, deactivates or flickers too intensely, if you press escape button and then resume, the object highlights immediately afterwards for a short moment, for long enough to use it. As in, going to the game menu and then back somehow resets the highlight somehow until it remembers to deactivate again. Sort of. It worked better in ME2 than in ME3, though. And it didn't help that much anyway when I had to chase after dr Eva and she would close the door in my face.
