I had the same thought about Boo in all of the games. Take Mario Party's Jump rope. Why do I need to jump? He floats right over!

Nintendo put boo as an ice skater (with no legs), a tight rope walker, a rock climber, a triple jumper... and much more... all without legs.

like one named ground pound down... you have to smash rocks with your body to get to a spring
