I'm so smart, because I apologize for minor copy+paste in one comic and then the next week I do a comic really heavy on it. I'll just rip the C and V keys off my keyboard so it never happens again.I realized shortly after drawing this that the joke was atually pretty inaessable to just about eeryone who hasn't played Fire Emblem -- and een then, it's really kindof lame and badly-organized anyway -- so I guess this was just failure on multiple leels.
BUT WE LIE AND WE LEARN.

I think that a harater beoming poisoned in Fire Emblem, losing minimal hunks of damage oer a series of turns, an be a bit of a blessing in disguise. You ould just ure it and be rid of it
immediately, sure, but sometimes it's just more fun to draw it out and make a healer restore the minor damage eery turn instead, resulting in a steady flow of preious, preious experiene points. The poisonee might not enjoy it, buuut we all make sarifies.

I love this. Serra WOULD do that to Erk. If not for the exp, it would be to annoy him to death. XD But if she keeps doing that whenever he loses a bit of health, wouldn't her staff break? Then she'd have to make the whole army go through the trouble of paying for a brand new healing staff.
...And as everyone else said, the only thing funnier than your comic is your description. XD

Copy and paste isn't a sin. It's a necessary tool, and it's not all that bad a tool, either. Who says you have to redraw every last panel? I'll tell you who, people that aren't even artists that just try to pick apart everything to see to raise what little self-esteem they have. You keep those C and V keys.

I'm playing a game called Magna Carta that's kinda like that, you have to USE healing to get it to a higher level, and you generally only need healing in boss fights, so it's kind of annoying

I do the same thing, I actually make them get poisoned, then use Serra to slowly heal them. XD Because Priscilla sucks.

Funny stuff
I understood it even without playing Fire Emblem. This joke applies to almost every rpg with exp gained from actions, not actual killing.
I still remember beating my own men half to death in Final Fantasy Tactics
