Description

Figured I should get this done as soon as possible just so I can't succumb to procrastination or forget about it! I am in the making of an actual reference sheet with more detailed information, including his working equipment and a marking map and stuff, as this is a more general information -kind of registration sheet of my Osco for Vayrons . I will also be copypasting the wall of information from his original entry since it's a pretty neat summary.

Osco is a young adult vayron, about 25 years old(?), male.

Type: A heavy puller, has been bred for the purpose of a draft animal and his built makes it clear. About the size of a Percheron horse.

Magic: Low Enchanted; isn't very good at using magic, has to put a lot of work into it to make use of even very little telekinetic powers. Might sometimes make rocks and the ground around him rattle slightly with an unstable power of the earth element, usually subconsciously during an emotional spike.

Tail: A dual colored short fluff.

Ears: An uncommon draco type.

Eyes: Icy blue with round pupils.

Bonded to: N/A

Location: Was born and has lived his entire life in the village closest to the city of Roenden, but has made several treks to the other villages and cities in the continent in his work, pulling his owner's wares and trades and the like. (? this is generally pretty open, as I'm not sure if he's actually allowed to do the work of both a puller and a carrier. I imagined his owner would have a couple vayrons under his care, at least one of them being Osco's mother, and he'd try to breed/buy/tame them to help the family with the hard work of all kinds of farm work, pulling/carrying, whether just in their own village or between that and others across the continent; whatever would bring them money to live. Let me know if this is okay.)

Osco is a puller and as such is very large with a quite sturdy and muscular stature, built like a mountain. He is very strong and is able to pull his own weight with ease, and he doesn't tire very easily. Despite the obvious mismatch, he has a burning desire to be a runner, to do the kind of work they get to do, to see the world like they do, and he has worked hard to achieve that. However, as large and bulky as he is, he isn't very agile or fast. In fact, he can be quite clumsy, and though he enjoys running, he could never outrun an actual runner, not even in endurance. There are differently sized scars around the thumbs of the hind legs from where the vayron has attempted to work on his agility and speed in rough terrains, causing the thumbs to often get stuck in the terrain or otherwise get in the way, scraping and ripping. After all, they are typical for a puller and runners rarely have them, as they would only act as a hindrance for them.*

His coat is rough and coarse to the touch more than it is smooth and silky. This becomes more evident when his mane is cut, as it never seems to come out the same length all over, with some persistent, rough strands simply refusing to follow the flow of the rest of the hair. The same goes for the little hair on the underside of his jaw. When left unkept, the mane grows out most of the firmness, it'll often come out uneven, and can get messy. The coat in general is preferably kept as a short clip, even in the winter. He has enough muscle to keep him warm. The color of the coat is based off of the grey roan color seen on horses with a hint of brindle in dogs.

Osco's eyes are icy blue in color, the pupils round, and the overall shape gives off an impression of ire. That is not completely off track, as he's very stubborn and determined in nature, with a hint of a short temper, though generally he is quite neutral. With the short-ish temper, he seems to have some so-called on- and off-days, meaning that his mood can go from neutral to moody and irritated very quickly. This discontentment often comes out simply in displeased body language, avoidance of contact and more time spent minding his own business, as he usually does not necessarily want to fight. He prefers the company of other vayrons over humans, but will do his work with the latter nevertheless.

His ears are of the draco type, being long and pointy. The tail is a short fluff of black and white.

As his dream to be a runner is still on the way of coming true, if it ever will, he's put his true strengths to use as he does work as both carrier and puller, a quite general draft animal with the plus of being able to pull a lot more than the average working horse. Had he not been bred for that purpose, he believes he would enjoy the world more if he was free to do whatever he wanted.

His working equipment consists of a horse harness with slight modifications.

Because of his relatively difficult personality and general indifference towards humans, he has not yet bonded.

I will be updating this with information whenever something new comes up.
