I loved the movie. When ash got turned into stone, I LAUGHED FOR HOURS, REPLAYING IT OVER AND OVER!!!!! Ash will never be the best, so it pissed me off when they revived him!

...i think they should have replaced the whole cast from the show with every new generation.
Ash was a great character, and not winning the champions league at the end showed his adventure isn't over yet, and he had to fully develop his potencial.
But then they kept him being the main hero for every god damn season, he made like NO IMPROVEMENTS, recycled everything he learns again and again, etc.
I bet if they had used a different main characters for every season, people nowadays would say: "Remember Ash? The hero from the first season? He was the best!".
Oh well. To me, the games are what matter anyway. XD
