I dunno... The anti-cute macro shot to follow the snail pics. Saw this sucker taking a break on one of the daisys near my sleeping bag. Though he looked pretty good sitting there in the morning light, dew drops still on the petals of the flower. *shrug*Related content

I love your fugly bug (and I love the word fugly).
It is an immature katydid I think. It is probably in it's first or second molt. They are so gorgeous!!!

I saw a bug just like that at my grandparent's old house. I don't think we get bugs like that around here though. And the one I saw was a much smaller. You must've had this bug call on one of his buddies to hunt me down. It even hitched a ride in my hair for a while. Evil bug, lol.
