Description

Recently I've had an opportunity to use 3D printer, and I wanted to check if model printed on it can match commercial miniatures. It is a simple home printer, so quality is not the best. I'm particularly not happy about the face, but it is the best I could get after a few tries. The nose and ears are added later and made from green stuff. Fortunately she wears glasses, so the eyes were not a problem . The model was printed in parts, glued together, covered in putty, polished with sandpaper and then painted. The scale is made separately on a laser cutter.

The model is downloaded from here - the quality and the level of details of the original is amazing, but sadly my printer could not reproduce it. .
