Ever wondered why would someone wander a dark and creepy forest habitated by a malevolent being just to find pages?Well, that's my idea about it; the persons are not willingly searching for the pages, Slender man is invading their minds, changing their thoughts, making them get more curious over the common sense of survival in order to oblige them to search for the pages, ignoring the deadly threat that is watching their footsteps... Slender man is most likely playing with their minds, just for his amusement, to see his prey run and scream in fear, and yet remain and search for the pages... And once Slender man gets tired, he puts an end in the unfair game....
I bet you guys saw something different there...

When you beat the game you have to go back and find a lost sign saying a little boy named Timmy. Click on it and ring the bell. Do it about 3 or 4 times then you'll find yourself in a really glitched out house and place. By the way if you die you can't go back playing

Yeah, I did that one, it is quite weird.
Β I found out that if you go to the "Eight pages" chapter, there's a place were you can bug the game and leave the map, if you go too far Slender man will say "Not even a bug in this game will save you from me." and will kill you.
Β The other I found is, in the last chapter "the Arrival" inside the cave there's a "Don't give him 20$" written on the rocks XD

I'm not into the slender dude stuff... but I like this painting very much. I like that you cannot see the face of the slender man, and how the blood become the strings, showing what you explained in the description.

I always thought that the pages were proof of his existence and that gathering them gave you the ability to fight against his power and escape.

...I really never truly believed in that idea of the pages being the "way out to survival" Why? Because most of times what the pages do is drive you closer to him rather than farther, if the pages were the salvation, then it is weird why the person only gets stalked once the person takes one...And one thing I realized is that, Slender man is playing with the person, he's pushing you, pretending to be getting angry, because for what can be seen, if he wants you dead, he can simply teleport on your back and stab you with his tentacles...And another thing is how a person that doesn't know about the survival theory would blindly search for the pages even knowing there's a creature capable of teleporting hunting them...
Β That's just my view...Slender man has not real cannon so everyone can have different ideas of the page purposes.

The pages are a like a key that needs all the pieces to be assembled.Β Without them, you die.Β But there are people who can defeat slender in single combat.Β THey just don't qualify as normal.
