It's a Pokémon-themed stage! Fighting in the arena itself is the most obvious choice, but taking the fight outside the ring can be quite interesting. There are little alcoves under the platforms on the left and right where you might be able to hole up. You could also climb into the rafters if your jumps can carry you that high. Some of that metal junk might also save your opponents from getting KO'd now and then, so watch where you're trying to hit them!
