New Super Mario Bros. DS was a decent game. I enjoyed it more than the Wii version, but not as much as older Mario titles. I remembered that people complained about how the giant shroom can cause you to miss a secret in the first level, so I made sure not to destroy the pipes on my first time through, and everything was fine. The only thing that really bothered me were the stages that required special power-ups from outside the level, because it was a pain to retry and easy to fail.
