Occulus is an alien character I created for a sci-fi rpg a few friends and I are doing. The rules of the game assume everyone will make human characters, but when do I ever make human characters? The game takes place in space! Obviously I'm going to make an alien!Occulus has some energy-based abilities, and has telekinesis and can teleport. He also has a deep hatred of boxes for some reason...

I do the same thing.Β I prefer to design characters who are not humans.Β Aliens, demons, dragons, robots, eldrtich horrors are something that I enjoy to create.Β They're just much more fun!Β
