Claude's not the type to socialize but he'll respond if one speaks to him. He courteously answers anybody, even when they intend to offend; he gets his revenge in other ways. Despite the fact that people mock him often, he's very careful with his words to avoid insulting others. He prefers to be alone during his spare time and ignores his surroundings unless something requires his attention. He values the academy's peace and gets rid of any irksome pests who dare disturb it. When provoked, he'd rather reason. Although if needed, he doesn't mind staining his hands. He isn't interested in meddling with the trivial problems of others; not that he doesn't care but because he dislikes getting involved. However, he will do anything in his power to save others when their lives are put in danger.

Before his father's incident, the House of Úlfur was a well respected and admirable family. The Úlfurs traditionally served as the knights and guards of the Kingdom, which they protected and helped to prosper. Every member of this house has the ability to transform into a wolf-like creature, which grants them inhumane strength and power.

Unpredictably, this great house's downfall soon came after the war where the cause was his own father.

His father was known to be a great warrior. He played a significant role in the war against the Dark Forces but ever since then, he came back a different man. What the pack brought back from the war was something sinister, something that pushed them to their wit's end

Darkness consumed their souls which tortured their minds into lunacy. Their intent to hunt and kill grew and they couldn't distinguish friend from foe. They were able to control their transformations and ill-intentions before, but due to this corruption the members who returned from the war slowly spiralled to insanity. The House's Head, his father, decided to send the frenzied creatures away from the Kingdom but selfishly decided for him to stay with his newborn son. His father knew something was wrong with himself, but he managed to control his demons with his strong will to protect and care for his child.

Many weeks passed, everything was as of before and the kingdom was once again prosperous and safe. His father retired from his post to take care of his young family.

And then the tragic incident happened.

The moon was full, the wind howled and lives were taken. The frenzy finally consumed his father and he woke up orphaned. Their family has been looked down on ever since.

After this incident, his grandfather took him in and raised him. As his grandfather served the king well, he allowed Claude to enter the academy; but with a condition. He must isolate himself from the other students and wear a collar to limit his power. He must also live on the school grounds and work as an intern of the School Caretaker.

Since he is a descendant of wolves, he is forced to transform to a werewolf during a full moon. During night time and hunting, his senses are enhanced.

He inherited the power to create gusts of wind passed onto the descendants of the Úlfur bloodline. He isn't capable of creating great gusts of wind since he is still young and due to certain conditions he must abide by.

His Jewel breaker is a dog whistle. He uses it during his Wolf transformations and training to control himself. It is a silver, flute-shaped whistle that he wears around as a pendant and acts as his collar. It has a blood red ruby embedded onto it with blades of silver wind-blade shaped designs surrounding the gemstone.
