when King Ghidorah knocks out Godzilla, King Ghidorah throws his gravity beams in on the volcano causing earthquake and flooding in to the island opening the Hollow Earth, Mothra takes Miki Saegusa and the atlanteans out, Julian and his friends manage to escape in the boats,and the Titans leave there, King Ghidorah managed to destroy the Atlantis and the Monster Island.
