Sakako has been close friends with Tatsuya since they were in elementary school. Kind, smart, and caring, she is also very popular with her classmates.
She had always been hard working and does whatever she can to help Tatsuya with his family struggles. Although he doesn't want to her to, Sakako insists on continually helping Tatsuya.
Tatsuya feels that he is no good for her and that she could be doing bigger and better things, especially since she's part of the student council. Yet she always makes time for him no matter what.
