After having most of the day to dwell on the idea of going off to a new and possibly terrible place for who knows how long, Magma decided he wasn't too hot on this idea. Being the oldest (looking) of the other kids, though, he didn't want to hurt his image. He waited until he thought everyone was asleep before getting too upset about it. Turns out, most of the others were too excited to nod off and had been faking until they thought they could get away with sneaking around. Rather than creeping off to cause trouble, they decided to skip stones and try to calm Magma down a tad
