Description
In Dante Alighieri's 3rd circle of hell, an infernal swarming of aphids, where living juveniles mingle with the dead and the remains of moults. With adults pacing this quivering peat. And they mate by perforating their partner's abdomen. All on the stem of a daisy.A bit spine-chilling, isn't it? But it's also an opportunity for some pretty spectacular macros.
Taken with the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro at an enlargement ratio of around 2.5:1, without stacking for once. Those bugs moved to fast.
