For the contest over at . This one was awesomely fun to do. First off, I was going for the "If the charas had been the opposite gender all along" angle, rather than "Characters unexpectedly have their genders switched" angle. I was also trying to make the characters look like the opposite gender and still look like THEMSELVES. I think I pulled it off pretty much.
As you can see, I've managed to get almost the entire main cast gender-bent. I ended up not doing Kagura since Byakuya is already canon OH SNAP!
Edit: Haha, I just realized Man-Gome looks almost just like Sousuke Sagara in the second-to-last panel. Whoops.

I adored it! Especially like the first and last panels. I really like the idea of a female Inuyasha. I think it's because I love tomboyish heroines and female Inuyasha would be the ultimate.

I LOVE that with the gender switch Sango also got the perviness. Seeing Miroku defending his honor is a trip. She couldn't be a monk though so wouldn't she still be a tijiya?

...eh? Sango IS still a Taijiya...Miroku is a female monk (Yes, there is such a thing in Buddhism). Miroku is still the pervert.

I think I got confused half way through about who was who. In any case, Miroku couldn't be a monk as a woman (assuming he started out as one) because while there are female monks in modern Buddhism (I have even met one), there weren't any in the 16th century. Then the only female Buddhist clerics were nuns who wore the white outfit we saw in the encounter with the cat demon woman.
It's still a cute picture though.

I may or may not do more; I actually had fun with the gender-bent versions, especially thinking how that'd change the dynamic. Depends on whether or not I think of anything post-worthy.

By "spot-on," I meant that you managed to keep their exact personality, while swapping the gender-linked behaviors. For example, Rin's fawning is now changed into male hero worship. And the whole "lecher" routine is just as funny with the phrase "scarlet woman."
