Description 90. Triangle - [link]

-----------------------

Lawl, symbolism. See if you can guess what each thread represents.

Also, their states of consciousness are deliberate, particularly Kagome being the only one that's conscious out of the three.

I really enjoyed the different fate threads in this one. Kagome holding Kikyou's hand from destrouing Inuyasha, Kikyou's hand holding to the piercing of Inuyasha's heart (and that being the only real tie besides the shikon's) , I like all of them. Nicely done!

Ah, I'm really glad the link from Kagome's hand restraining came across! It's always reassuring when others get what you're trying to convey. Thanks a lot for the comment!

loos like kagome is covered in all these painful knots. D: and inuyasha's got one at the heart.

Well, they're not necessarily painful knots, exactly. I was working with the Japanese myth of the Red String of Fate that connects people. Since that's the case, it's more that where the thread connects is related to how the characters are connected. For example, Kagome and Kikyou are joined at the neck because their lives are linked, while Inu-Yasha's heart is connected to Kagome's, but to Kikyou's hand. All of the threads have meaning like that.

Ah I see. How very cool. I did a picture similar to this but it involved just one character, and several multi colored sting that had different meanings. I do love this picture. :3 I just want tp print out and figure out where everything connects.

I did, but I wanted to redraw it, since I really liked the concept. The thing was, though, that I couldn't find the original, so I didn't know how I'd originally had the threads, or who was conscious or not or what. So I just redid it completely. I'm pretty happy with it now. ^^

Ilove it... and the challenge to think about what each thread means/referrs to is great as well!
