Yard or Tsepnyak.

Guards the yard, obeys the brownie in everything. Keeps an eye on children and guests. Can find and bring home the lost cattle.
Calf-sized, with dense growths on the muzzle, cheeks, shoulders, chest, belly and hind legs. On the back, the coat is long and shaggy, bristling in different directions. He wears a collar with several chain links around his neck. If the chain rusts, it means that someone wishes the court evil. The muzzle is doglike, the forelimbs resemble hands with short claws. The hind limbs are like dog paws, therefore walks slowly on two legs. The shaggy tail is often clogged with thorns - the tricks of the goblin, whom Tsepnyak did not let into the yard (or into the village, if the house is extreme). In the dark, Tsepnyak can be mistaken for a wolf by mistake or from drunken eyes.
Lives under a gate, in a doghouse, or under a porch. At night he goes around the yard, whining softly when he finds holes in the fence. Scares off thieves and arsonists.
When angry, it can scare children and drive cats out of the yard.
Chain dogs are his assistants, in which the Dvorovoy can move in in order to howl to warn the owners of the coming grief. Tsepnyak loves to help with the housework, finds tools and harness lost in the yard, drives other people's goats and chickens from the garden. He does not get along with the bathhouse, so he often opens the door to the bath, releasing the heat outside. Especially protects horses.
A bad owner who does not look after the yard and cattle is punished. Helps a good owner on the hunt (at night driving the prey into a snare) and brings valuable things to the doorstep.
Leaves the yard if the brownie is driven out of the house.
Likes to be mischievous in spring and autumn - pulls away heaps of leaves, wallowing in them, tears up hay, steals a broom and hides them behind doors
