This is great! I like how the expressions you've conveyed (in your
drawing) captures the personalities of each individual character~
I like how Jay is pushing Kai out of the way. It represents Kai's (potential) fear
of having someone get between him and the sister he cares for so much.
Seeing as how the two were parentless for a while, I'm sure it brought Kai onto
a fatherly role of protecting Nya from others. And I assume that they didn't have
many friends before they met the ninja, so Kai doesn't want Nya's attention to
be given to another...
And there's no crime against watching a good show~

Well this is gonna sound cliche, but i had LOTS of practice. I started off copying other people over and over again, then I started to become more independent and create my own style. I don't know if that's helpful but that's just how I got to where I am now

Okay it helps a little bit and I do the same thing and find out what I can pick up on but I LOVE Cole's hair and I was like why cant I understand how to draw hair like that. BTW, do you take requests and if you do can you draw me like a suttle pic of just Cole??

BTW: I another way that I learned my own style was taking classes. I noticed that ever since I took art classes in high school, my art has gotten SO much better. I believe that getting help and instruction from a professional or someone who is (to put it frankly) better than yourself will really improve your art.
I'm still taking classes and learning from my seniors, and you can tell by seeing all the tutorials that I faved.

Well, at my school, they expect you to have SOME experience, and start off at the lower level classes. From there they teach you certain techniques to hone in your artistic skills. So, in a way, yeah, they do teach art

Here's what I'll do (or try to do because my schedule at the moment is really hectic), I'll plan to make a turotial on my drawing style (face), and I'll use Cole as my lab rat
And maybe later I'll make another picture of Cole and/or his buddies later on (cuz Cole is my fave ninja too)
