Alternate History where the Confederacy survived after Abraham Lincoln's Assassination in 1863

Including States' Flags and Timeline of US and CS Presidents

Some Lore : After the Confederate invasion of the North, public opinion of Lincoln continued to deteriorate until his assassination. After that his vice president and the new Democratic majority decided to make peace with the secessionist states.

After that the Republican party fell into disgrace and with a few exceptions was no longer elected to the presidency. At the turn of the 20th century the party acquired socialist tendencies.

In the Confederate States the new Whig party campaigned for Blacks' Rights improvement. The expansion of industry, the decrease of plantation owners and the social and racial tensions lead to the abolition of slavery by Beauregard.

Augusta was chosen as the Capital for it's industrial capacity, it's geographic position and it's compromise between South Carolina and the other states.
