Description If you couldn't see the Tatzlwurm crying in the show it's because they were crying on the inside.

This made me giggle. And it spawned a similar idea, which I must share with the world. Oh dear.

Suppose the Tatzlwurm was sentient (as in it could speak a language and think abstractly, but I'm probably missing something), and the space under the flower was its home.

Now suppose it caught Cadance and Twilight, dragged them back into its hole, and threatened to file a lawsuit for property damage and theft. Not to mention it being in an incredibly bad mood because of whatever illness it had. May be funnier if Twilight and Cadance couldn't understand a thing it said.

I don't know, that just sounds amusing enough to enjoy seeing written, but not enough to write.

I'm more surprised by the fact the Wurm was able to defeat Discord with his snot.

Ooh, that's a good idea! What would happen next? A Tatzlwurm lawyer taking them to an unimpressed Celestia's courthouse? I'm probably overthinking this, heehee...

I actually over-analysed the Tatzlwurm-flower thing:

- Perhaps the worm had also come to fetch the petals to make a healing brew?

- There are different types of mutualistic relationships in nature, like some plants that are specially adapted for ant nests, so the ants effectively farm that type of plant and destroy others in the area (which goes with the lack of other big flowers in the scene). Also, some aphids produce honeydew and so ants protect them, and we know that the plant was meant to produce some sort of healing substance, so maybe that's connected to some sort of substance it produces for the worm to eat in return for protection?

- Maybe the worm had lived there so long that it relied on the plant's healing powers more than its own immune system, explaining why it got sick so soon after it was taken?

...But this comic's idea was my favourite (it's cute) and I don't want to be "that artist who keeps drawing the Tatzlwurm" so I'll probably leave it at this.

Poor worm. Maybe they gave the flower back later?
