A week went by as Adie watched the news for updates. She video chatted with John whenever she could and every time her stomach would make any kind of noise to signal that it was empty John would call up her local pizza place and order her another large. Adie was grateful for his generosity, but she could help but worry she was gaining weight and that by the time John saw her again that she'd be a massive, fat slob that he wouldn't want to date anymore. Her boyfriend in highschool had really been into bigger girls, but in the almost 7 months they had been dating, John had never given her any reason to believe that he had similar opinions (at least, so far). She had gotten herself back down to 145lbs just before they started dating, and yeah, she had put on about 15lbs since then (not counting whatever weight she had gained in the last week), but John had been a passive observer in that weight gain process, he hadn't actively been making her gain weight, had he? She put in an order for a scale and some workout equipment just in case. The shipping date said: "eventually." Adie worried that her waistline might grow a few more inches before long.
