Did you know that Opal and Twilight Sparkle share the same Japanese voice actress? The reason why I'm sharing this fact is because I happened to draw them both encountering each other for the first time.

They are both winged unicorns (alicorns as they are referred to in the MLP universe), both specialize in magic spells, and are considered in the top of their positions. If this isn't a mere coincedence, I don't know what will.
