Just wanted to get this off of my chest. Ever since the Nitro Squad's debut in 2019, there's been an overabundance of teenage bandicoot characters, particularly females. But they're all limited to a handful of personality traits, and thus it's hard to even like them as OCs. That's where my very own Crash'sona, Joyce Devil comes into play. Here are the primary reasons why she stands out from most of the OCs:

- Joyce is not a teen or young adult: Joyce Devil is actually a tween: 10-13 years old to be exact. Since she is still a child, she is more prone to danger, which fits the whole asthetic of the entire Crash Bandicoot franchise. It is meant to be a cartoony franchise with a sense of adventure. There is a reason why I don't want Alt!Tawna to return in a future Crash game since she lacks anything cartoony. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

- Joyce is not a bandicoot: Yeah, it's pretty obvious. Joyce is actually a Tasmanian devil, and is the fan daughter of Viscount Devil; a one-time character who only appeared in Crash Boom Bang! for the Nintendo DS. And besides, there's too many bandicoot characters even in the main series. It's hard to keep track of who's who. Crash, Coco and Crunch I can understand since they all have unique designs, but the Nitro Squad look too similar to each other aside from the hairstyles and what-not. They all have the same body shape. 'Nuff said.

- Joyce actually has a plethora of personalities and hobbies: Joyce isn't just limited to 1 or 2 personality traits; she actually has tons of traits since she's meant to represent myself in the Crash Bandicoot universe. Joyce loves hanging out with her biggest idols Crash and Coco, practicing voodoo doll magic, performing ballet lessons, practicing her punching skills because of her steel knuckles, and she is easily excitable, can get herself in trouble, awkward, clumsy, and overemotional with a bit of a sassy side in her. As for the other OCs... feel free to get someone to ask you questions about your OC and tell them what's their favorite [subject] and are they good at [something].

This is not meant to attack other OCs btw, I think they are pretty neat and have nice designs, but because of what I described above, I can't get into certain characters. That's why I'm asking you all to be more creative and thoughtful about making your character, and that goes out to everyone; not just the Crash fans. Let your imagination flow and think about the things that interest you and your character, okay? Now that that's settled... hope y'all like as always.
