Rumor has been circulating that weather has been changing, from very hot, to very cold, to very hot again, with patterns alternating over the years.

We have had a moderate winter, so far, and yet February and early March, here in Indiana, are our most severe winter months. No telling how the winter of 2017 might finish.

Back a few years, 2013, I had taken this photograph at the end of winter, with more conventional colors. Sometimes when I go back in my files, I feel differently about how to present an image, and in this case I moved over to the ultra cold feel, taking some liberties with color and tones.
