Description
This box is named after the person for whom it was made, my best friend, Maria. Her favourite colours are purples and blues, so when I found this beautiful decoupage paper, she instantly came to mind. I covered the outside of the box with the paper and the inside with a gold acrylic paint. I added gold paint around the edges of the box to help seal in the paper edges and to add interest. Paper roses in pale cyan and lime green form the central decoration on the top of the box and I completed the design with small gems in various colours to match the flowers.
