DesktopApril2012Do know how to remove or change the shortcut arrows?
here's how you do it.
go to the registry (regedit)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons
in there modify and type in this
C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll,49
29 is winXP arrow and 49 is no arrow.
How to remove shortcut text:
rename the shortcut, hold down the Alt key and type in 255
done. second icon rename type Alt+255, Alt+255 etc.
