First picture of my Merwal concept. I like the overall design, but I'm worried the body parts look like a bunch of pieces stuck together.
The 'fins' on the side of the face is an idea from Kohaku-Bakura and her picture here --> [link]

I'm thinking of adding markings, potentially changing the coloring, changing the face fins and changing the eyes. Particularly the eyes.

I don't think this creature is well developed enough yet for me to say 'this is mine and only mine' or get huffy about other people using it. So, if you'd like to create you own Merwal, or use it as a jumping off point, just link it back to here.
