Its a shame that they never understand the harm they do by forcing their religion on people by the letter, kinda scary to see that newborns get the brainwashing without any insights on how others react to it.

I'm a bit afraid what to do when I have a child of my own, I don't want to accidentally force a certain religious belief on them. I'll probably end up just telling them they can choose what to believe, and introduce a few religions to them, and let them choose for themselves.

Its a good way to see it through. In the end, most religions tend to push good values and have people being good to each other. I guess thats what it really comes down to, just living well with your kin and not stray towards evil or in our good friend Darkton's case, forcing our values and vision of good unto others thus indirectly being evil. (Even though this brings us the best movie/cartoon villains

2. God is about forgiveness, yet he didn't forgive Adam and Eve for eating the forbidden tree after they explained that the snake (which was the Devil) tricked them.
3. He's supposed to PROTECT US, give us FOOD, WARMTH. Yet the solar system has to deal with our bullshit by giving us food and warmth, and even conducting the water cycle.

im not anti-christian, i never said i was. nor did i imply it. A will say i am atheist, but that's as far as it goes. i respect peoples faith, but i don't believe in it.
As to answer your question i can't prove he isn't real, but to me a book that could have been written by god knows who, people blabbering they can 'feel' him, and the fact there is very little physical evidence other then word of mouth or 'book' will not make me believe he is real. He is about as real as unicorns and dragons, they can be alive right? there's books on them and people who believe they exist, does that make them real? believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.
