The SeaQuest begins her final approach to her new berth. Dagger 1 breaks off to resume their standard patrol of the area. While docking, SeaQuest is reunited with her two lost WSKRS. Mother and Junior were ordered to shut down and remain on the sea bed the moment SeaQuest was abandoned. Loner was ordered to follow SeaQuest to wherever she came to rest. Once she was on the bottom, Loner would shut down and wait for a reactivation signal. This is how MacLeod and team eventually found the old boat. Her transponder had been damaged during her final battle so his only way of keeping track of her was Loner. He never imagined the old boat would have drifted nearly 600 nautical miles on the North Pacific currents. Hence why it took him so long to find her. Better late than never.
Upon their reunion, Mother and Junior immediately resume their task of watching over their mothership.
