After another gaming break, I hopped back onto my Avenger re-rebuild. My biggest problem with this is that I started it without much of a plan. There are a few things I want to do that improve upon my last iteration (right), but I haven't really thought about how to make that happen. So, she sat for a few days. Tonight, after my gaming interest switch flipped itself off, yet again, I came up with some detail ideas that I figured I could flesh out. Now, on the previous build the glowy bits on the sides of the bow were part of the deflector and sensor systems. I've decided to change that. At least for the moment. So, I've added large grilles to the sides of the hull and directly above her Class 12 canons on the dorsal side of the hull. These help conceal a cooling system for Avenger's internally mounted guns. The turreted weapons are up and away from the hull with their own cooling systems, but the internal guns needed something. I'm not sure if this is exactly what I want. Especially the side grilles, but it's an idea.
