Alright, possible opinion time. While I was working on the spec sheet for the Avenger I came up with an F-371C Talon "Strike" variant. Tonight I set out to make a Proof of Concept model of her. These two shots have the -371A "Talon" (Right) and the -371C "Strike Talon" side by side. The idea I'm going with is the difference between the F-15C "Eagle" and the F-15E "Strike Eagle" The "Strike" variant being a two-seater with a WSO (Weapon Systems Officer) in the back seat handling the big toys. With this, the "Strike Talon" has an elongated fuselage for the second seat and an upgraded propulsion system to compensate for the extra mass. I've also dropped the belly a bit to accommodate some of the sensors and other systems that go with her new strike weaponry. Right now I have her with a mixed load just showing some of her potential heavy weapons. On the starboard wing, three hardpoints with ASM-1205 "Lance" Anti-ship missiles and a heavy rocket pod on the port. The mounting for the rocket pod is totally just there. I'll figure out how to fit it best later... lol
