Well, for those paying attention, I started a rebuild of the fighter bay for my Victory Class Battlecruiser. I haven't gotten much done on it since my post the other day, but my brain being what it is, sidetracked the hell out of me.
"Ooo, this is coming together well. Man I really need to touch up those Talon fighters." Yeah, guess what I'm doing now?
So, this is rebuild candidate five or six. I started with a total rebuild and redesign, but realized I still love the main fuselage and for some reason can't fully recreate it. So, I went back to my original mesh from 4 years ago and broke it down to maybe the first couple of meters of hull and rebuilt it from that. This is an experiment with a different intake layout. Something a little smoother. To be honest, all I wanted to do was rebuild what I had with a cleaner mesh. I may go ahead and do that in the end, but I wanted to see if I could make some smaller changes to her in the process to make her look a little better. So far, this is what I got compared to my current mesh.
